Feel the Meiji era with our premium Japanese cuisine
We cordially invite you to partake in a selection of premium, locally caught seafood or local Kenran beef at our restaurant, Takadai. Located right behind the Hagi Bus Center, Takadai is a restaurant that has garnered admiration from cultural figures, politicians, and residents alike since its establishment. After your meal, a licensed interpreter guide will lead you on a tour of the premises, which has been recognized by Yamaguchi Prefecture as a modern Japanese-style building. In December of last year, it was also designated as a Nationally Registered Tangible Cultural Property. We hope you will enjoy both the flavors of Hagi and the opportunity to experience this culturally and historically significant building
